TC Euro Cars (TCEC), the sole franchise holder for Renault cars in Malaysia has announced a new update to its Renault Subscription offering. To offer greater affordability, freedom and flexibility, the car subscription service has been revised to cover short, medium and long-term usage.

RM399 Renault Captur weekly subscription

Previously offered as a one-time trial, the RM399 subscription trial plan for the Renault Captur is now available for repeated subscription. Customers are now able to sign up for unlimited times and TCEC hopes that this will help customers who may have their budgets impacted by the movement control order or for those that are not keen on a long-term commitment during this time of uncertainties.

The weekly plan costs RM399 and there’s no deposit required. The plan has unlimited mileage and comes inclusive of road tax, insurance and servicing.

Cheaper Pre-Owned Renault Captur subscription

For a more affordable long-term subscription, there’s now a Pre-owned Renault Captur option that’s going for RM1,299/month for a 1-year duration. As a special promo, they are offering the first 6 months for only RM599/month (54% off).

The subscription comes with a yearly mileage cap of 20,000km and a refundable deposit of RM2,500 is required. The subscription also covers road tax, insurance and servicing. Do note that the pre-owned subscription is only available for limited units and you can book by placing a RM200 deposit online.

Longer tenure and more mileage options

Previously, customers can only subscribe to a Renault Captur and Koleos model for up to a maximum of 2 years, while the 3-year option is only limited to the Megane RS hot hatch. TCEC is now offering a 3-year option for all vehicles. A brand new Captur can be yours from RM1,299/month while the Koleos can be yours from RM2,299/month on a 3-year contract. Meanwhile, the Megane RS is still offered from RM3,999/month on a 3-year contract for the manual version, while the EDC auto variant is going for RM4,299/month.

If the allocated 20,000km per year is not enough, you can add on more mileage up to 40,000km per year. For the Captur that’s an extra RM200 per month for 30,000KM or RM400 per month for 40,000KM. The additional mileage add-on costs more on premium models and it can cost as much as RM800/month for the Megane RS for 40,000km/year.

Renault Subscription Plans

Apart from the typical single-make subscription, TCEC is also offering a switch option which allows you to swap cars for 2 months. This allows you to swap your vehicle for a Megane RS, Koleos or Captur. In addition, the Switch plan also covers wear and tear, and it also has unlimited mileage.
