In case you missed it, Malaysia’s movement control order has been extended until 12th May 2020. Malaysians are urged to stay at home and to only go out when necessary. During the Ramadhan month, no balik kampung trips are allowed.
The government is also considering granting one-time permission to those that have travelled to their hometowns before the MCO to return back to the city. Those that intend to do so may apply for permission via an app or at their nearest police station with an appointment. The government needs to find out the number of people wanting to travel back to the city and will consult the Ministry of Health before making a decision.
