MCO: Astro extends free viewing until 14 April

With the recent two-week extension for the Movement Control order, Astro will continue to extend its free viewing offer for both Astro and non-Astro subscribers. According to the pay-TV operator, they want to encourage all Malaysians to stay at home while keeping themselves informed and entertained.

Astro Go for non-subscribers

As offered previously, non-Astro subscribers can enjoy 22 channels for free via Astro Go. This includes channels such as Astro Prima, Astro Oasis, Astro Awani, Astro AEC, CCTV, Astro Xiao Tai Yang, Astro Tutor TV and Cartoon Network. Apart from Live TV, you can also enjoy 12,000 hours of complimentary on-demand content via the Astro Go app which is available on both Google Play Store and Apple AppStore. You can also watch it on the desktop web browser at astrogo.com.my.

All you’ll need is an Astro ID account which can be registered for free. This free viewing is offered until 11:59pm on 14th April 2020.

Astro subscribers

All Astro customers can enjoy complimentary viewing to all movie, news channels and also Cartoon Network until the 14th of April 2020. This includes channels such as HBO, Cinemax, FOX Movies, tvN, CGTN, CNN, BBC, Al Jazeera, Sky News and more. The complimentary viewing for all Astro customers is valid until 11:59pm o 14th April 2020.

Astro Sports Pack

For Astro customers with Sports pack, you can continue to watch all Astro channels (excluding Astro First and Astro Best) for free. This is applicable on both Astro and Astro Go until 11:59pm on 30th April 2020.

NJOI Customers

For NJOI customers, you’ll get complimentary viewing for not just KIX and Nat Geo Wild, but also for Celestial Movies and Cartoon Network until 11:59pm on 14th April 2020.

Do take note that Astro is rearranging its channel numbers beginning 1st April 2020. The new arrangement will put HD channels upfront and Astro says there won’t be any change to your viewing experience.
