TNG RFID accepted at all PLUS and LPT2 highway! | ICYMI #290

If the galaxy A51 and A71 is out of your budget, don’t worry because here comes another alternative from Samsung and it is only priced less than RM500. In other news, RFID will be fully supported on PLUS highways from 1st April.

Samsung Galaxy A01 

Shortly after Samsung has introduced the galaxy A71 and the A51, here comes another brand new Smartphone from the A family and it is called the Galaxy A01.

Huawei P40 and P40 Pro live stream launch

The Huawei P40 series is scheduled to launch on the 26th March 2020 but it appears that they have cancelled its physical launch event in Paris.  Due to the current COVID-19 outbreak, Huawei has decided to have an online-only event for its “most powerful 5G flagship smartphone”. 

Apple “iPhone 9” event is not happening due to COVID-19

With the current coronavirus outbreak, it appears that Apple’s upcoming event which is supposed to take place at the end of this month has been cancelled. Apple was expected to unveil its “iPhone 9“, which is supposedly an iPhone SE successor and their latest generation of iPad Pro.

 TNG RFID accepted at all PLUS and LPT2 highway toll plazas from 1st April

As announced earlier, RFID payments will be available at remaining 83 closed-toll systems along the North-South Expressway from 1st April 2020. The RFID support will also include LPT2 highway along the East Coast.
