MYTV Broadcasting will conduct a frequency restacking exercise for digital TV broadcast at Pahang and Perak.
This exercise will be performed at the Kuala Rompin station in Pahang and the Pulau Pangkor station in Perak. The frequency rearrangement will be done between 1:00 am and 6:00 am on March 8th. As of now, digital TV broadcast is transmitted via two frequencies at each station. This process involves changing the second frequency only.
Currently, myFreeview offers 14 TV channels which include TV1, TV2, TV Okey, Berita RTM, RTM Sports, TV3, ntv7, 8TV, TV9, two CJ Wow Shop channels, Bernama TV, TV Al Hijrah and Astro Go Shop. In addition, users can also enjoy 6 RTM radio stations namely Nasional FM, Asyik FM, Klasik Nasional, Traxx FM, Ai FM and Minnal FM.
Viewers are advised to put their decoders or integrated digital television (IDTV) on standby mode. If any technical difficulties are experienced after the exercise, users will need to re-scan their decoder or IDTV in order to get a new frequency. If at any point a manual re-scan is required, users can refer to the new list of frequencies at the following link. For any further clarifications, please call MYTV’s customer care line at 1800-18-1088.
