Luno offers RM200 worth of Bitcoins for RM8.88 on Shopee

Luno and Shopee have announced a collaboration which offers Malaysians deals, discounts and vouchers on the e-commerce platform to purchase and convert cryptocurrencies. Luno is the first approved cryptocurrency exchange by Malaysia’s Securities Commission (SC) and they are a platform which enables users to buy, sell and store cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum.

To drive massive awareness and adoption of cryptocurrency, Luno is tapping on Shopee’s large user base by offering a special promotion for Bitcoin vouchers that are going from as low as RM0.88. The most interesting offer is the RM200 Bitcoin voucher that’s offered for RM8.88.

After you’ve purchased the voucher, you can redeem it via the Luno app by entering the code under the Rewards section.

For new users, do take note that the vouchers do come with its own terms and conditions. Below are the list of vouchers available:

New customers

  • RM200 Bitcoin voucher – RM8.88 (Buy RM1,000 Bitcoin on Luno, get RM200 Bitcoin for free)
  • RM30 Bitcoin voucher – RM3.88 (Buy RM100 Bitcoin on Luno, get RM30 Bitcoin for free)
  • RM15 Bitcoin voucher – RM0.88 (Buy RM15 Bitcoin on Luno, get RM15 Bitcoin for free)

Existing Customers

According to the T&C, you must verify your identity and the voucher code must be applied before making a deposit into your MYR wallet. For the minimum amount of Bitcoin required, you must purchase it via Luno’s BUY Option from the home screen and the voucher won’t be valid if you use Luno Exchange.
