Sony’s new ANC headphones have passed Malaysia’s SIRIM certification

The Sony WH-1000XM3 is one of the best noise-cancelling headphones you can buy at the moment. If you’re looking for the latest and greatest, you probably want to wait for a little longer as the upcoming WH-1000XM4 appears to be coming to Malaysia very soon.

The Sony WH-1000XM4 has just passed our local SIRIM certification and this is the same model that had obtained FCC certification in the US last month. The device isn’t launched yet so we still don’t know what sort of improvements it has over the current generation. Perhaps it might offer longer battery life and improved fast charging support.

The WH-1000XM3 was first introduced in September 2018 and it is officially priced in Malaysia at RM1,599. The current model boasts up to 30 hours of battery life and you can get up to 5 hours of usage with just 10 minutes of charging.

The WH-1000XM3 is currently going for less than RM900. If you prefer the true wireless version, the WF-1000XM3 can be yours for less than RM700.

Thanks @KevinNgTK for the tip!
