If you haven’t bought your tickets, here’s your chance to return to your hometown with lower fares for the travelling period between 21st to 31st January 2020.
From Kuala Lumpur to Sibu, Bintulu and Miri, as well as Johor Bahru to Sibu, AirAsia is offering RM149 one-way all-in-fares. Flights from Kuala Lumpur to Sandakan and Tawau will be going for RM199 one-way all-in. The displayed fares are inclusive of taxes and fees. To cope with increased demand, AirAsia is adding late-night flights at fixed fares to six routes to East Malaysia.
AirAsia is also adding extra flights to 20 popular routes across Malaysia and to Singapore. This includes:
On top of that, Malaysians can enjoy up to 88% off the base fares for all destinations such as Kuala Lumpur to Penang, Langkawi, Kuantan, Lake Toba, Jakarta, Singapore, Surat Thani, Bangkok and more, via AirAsia.com or the AirAsia mobile app from 6th to 12th January 2020. This is applicable for travel between 6th January to 31st August 2020.
For extra savings, AirAsia is also offering 10% off for check-in luggage when you pre-book it with your flights within Malaysia. You can also get a 5% discount for hotel bookings with the promo code DOUBLE2020 and get up to 50% off duty free shopping and 2020 BIG Points via ourshop.com.
Due to the busy festive season, all passengers travelling during the Chinese New Year week are advised to arrive at the airport earlier to avoid congestion. Passengers are advised to perform web or mobile check-in for greater convenience. You can check-in from 14-days to up to an hour ahead of the scheduled time of departure. Check-in counters at KLIA2 will be closed 60 minutes ahead of scheduled departure time for both international and domestic flights.
If you’re looking for more options, Malaysia Airlines is also offering a fixed-fare promotion for the Chinese New Year season from RM129 one-way all-in.
