Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro with 128GB storage gets a RM200 price cut

The Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro is one of the most value for money flagship smartphones you can buy in Malaysia. If you’ve been considering to get one, Xiaomi Malaysia has announced a price cut and you can get the Snapdragon 855 powered smartphone with 128GB of storage for only RM1,599.

When it was launched in August 2019, the Mi 9T Pro with 64GB was going for RM1,599 while the 128GB version was priced at RM1,799. Essentially, you’re getting twice the storage capability for the same price. The revised price is already reflected on Xiaomi’s official store on Lazada and Shopee.

To recap on the specs, the Mi 9T Pro features a 6.39″ Full HD+ Super AMOLED display that comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor. Since this is the Pro model, the device runs on a Snapdragon 855 processor instead of a Snapdragon 730 unit. The Pro version also gets 8-layers of graphite cooling which improves its thermal efficiency during intensive usage.

For taking pictures, the device features a 48MP f/1.8 main camera and it also offers greater versatility with an 8MP f/2.4 telephoto camera and a 13MP f/2.4 ultra-wide-angle shooter. When it comes to selfies, it has a 20MP f/2.2 pop-up selfie camera that illuminates from the side.

Powering the device is a large 4,000mAh battery and it supports 27W fast-charging via USB-C. However, it comes with an 18W charging brick in the box. Despite having top-end specs, the Mi 9T Pro still comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack.
