Why did Oppo open its APAC Hub Centre in Malaysia?

Oppo has announced the opening of its APAC Hub Centre in Malaysia during its APAC Strategy Launch event held in Kuala Lumpur. With the establishment of the hub in Kuala Lumpur, Oppo can develop localised strategies and manage different markets closely, for example, the Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia. They added that the location allows them to hire top talent and this puts them a step further to understand consumer needs.

During the event, Oppo has also kicked off its Oppo 5G Landing Project in APAC with a total of 15 carrier partners. This includes Celcom, Digi, Maxis and U Mobile from Malaysia.
