Tune Talk now offers 3-day roaming pass for RM25

If you’re travelling overseas soon, Tune Talk now has a data roaming pass that lets you stay connected for 3 days at only RM25. This is somewhat similar to Digi’s popular roaming passes.

The 3-day pass is offered exclusively for AirAsia BIG members. If you’re not a member yet, you can sign up for free here.

Similar to Digi, the 3-day roaming pass comes with 2GB of data that’s valid for 72 hours. However, you don’t get any bundled voice calls. At the moment, this Tune Talk roaming pass is only available in 16 countries, namely, Thailand, Indonesia, China, Singapore, the Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, India, South Korea, Australia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macau, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bangladesh.

In countries that are not supported, Tune Talk charges RM33 per day for either 500MB or 50MB, depending on the country. You can view the list of supported roaming countries and their partner telco over here.

Do note that Tune Talk’s 3-day roaming pass can only be requested via the Tune Talk app and you may request for it 30 days in advance so that you can start using the moment your smartphone connects to their partner telco. According to the FAQ, you can purchase a maximum of 3 passes in advance, and once you’ve depleted a pass or it is expired, it will automatically reactivate the next one.

For more info, visit Tune Talk’s roaming page. If you need to roam with longer validity, you can also consider AirAsia Traveller SIM which lets you roam for 7 days from RM30.
