The .MY domain usually costs RM120 per year and the OKU group can register their own domain name for only RM60 beginning 1st January 2020. The details of the OKU discount will be available on MYNIC website on the 5th December 2019. Those interested may also contact them via their customer care hotline at 1-300-88-7277.
According to the minister, the initiative will encourage the OKU group to increase their online activities so that they can benefit from the digital economy. He said that the .MY domain will allow customers to find their websites easier and it can also boost confidence of customers.
