Bitmoji is a name that has become almost synonymous with Snapchat in recent times, with the social media company having acquired the emoji-makers a few years ago. Part of the fun of using Bitmoji with Snapchat, or even messaging apps like WhatsApp, is the customisability you have over your Bitmoji avatar.
Bitmoji has announced that they are rolling out an update to the app that will allow users to have even more customisability over their avatars. With “Mix and Match”, users will be able to tweak individual pieces of clothing—according to SnapChat, this will give you “billions” of outfit options.
Here’s how to utilise the new feature:
Unfortunately, I haven’t received the latest update on my Bitmoji app at the present, although Snapchat says that they are pushing the update. To be honest with you however, I wouldn’t say that I would even need that many clothing options to customise my Bitmoji avatar with. After all, I basically wear the same outfit everyday.
And in the spirit of Christmas, Bitmoji is also giving customers 20% off Bitmoji Merch during the holiday season. In a nutshell, the customised merchandise includes t-shirts, mugs, sweaters and more, featuring a Bitmoji or your Friendmoji (two peoples’ Bitmojis in one image).
Head over to your Snapchat app on iOS, and tap your Bitmoji in the upper-left corner to access your profile. From there, click on “Shop Bitmoji Merch” to access the Snap Store. On Android, open your Bitmoji app, and tap the shop ipon to browse through Bitmoji Merch.
