At Oppo’s brand new flagship store launch at The Gardens Mall yesterday, the smartphone maker also revealed the price for the new variant of their flagship Oppo Reno 10X Zoom. The special edition smartphone will feature 12GB of RAM and is priced at RM3,399.
Oppo’s Reno 10X Zoom is one of the more important smartphones on the company’s roster because it is the first phone from Oppo to feature a periscope telephoto lens that is also optically stabilised. It’s allows for the smartphone’s ludicrous 10X lossless zoom and 60X max zoom, something only one other smartphone has been able to match thus far.
Speaking of cameras, the Reno features three cameras at the back. The main 48MP shooter has an f/1.7 aperture wide angle camera, but it’s also supported by a 13MP f/3.0 periscope telephoto camera and an 8MP f/2.2 aperture ultra-wide angle camera.
Inside, the handset is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor while a 4,065 mAh battery–charged via USB-C with support for VOOC–keeps everything running. This special edition Reno 10X Zoom comes with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage and also comes in a new Ocean Blue colourway. Up front, the smartphone also packs a 6.6″ Full HD+ AMOLED display.
With a retail price of RM3,399, it means that the Reno 10X Zoom special edition is priced the same as the regular Reno 10X Zoom was at launch. The standard version has since had its price reduced to RM2,999.
If you’re interested in picking up the Oppo Reno 10X Zoom 12GB RAM special edition, pre-orders for this device will run from the 1st to 6th December 2019 and all pre-orders will receive a Fujifilm Instax Mini Link printer worth RM548 for free.
