The Honor 9X is coming to Malaysia next week and the local launch event is taking place on the 21st November 2019. According to Honor, they are also launching a new range of wearables which will make its global debut in Malaysia.

At the moment, there are no pricing details just yet for the Honor 9X and it is worth pointing out that it is different from the device that’s offered in China. Despite the ongoing restrictions from the US, Honor is still able to offer Google Mobile Services out of the box. This means, you still get Google Play Store and full access to Google apps such as Gmail, YouTube, Maps and more.

In terms of specs, the Honor 9X features a 6.59″ Full HD+ display that has no notches or punch-holes on the top. For Malaysia, the device is offered with a single variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage, which is expandable via a microSD card.

For taking pictures, the front comes with a 16MP pop-up selfie camera while the rear gets a 48MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle shooter and a 2MP depth camera. Powering the device is a large 4,000mAh battery that charges via USB-C.

For the new wearables, we don’t have any details just yet and we believe it could be a fitness band or a smartwatch series that runs on HarmonyOS. Stay tuned to us for availability and pricing details.
