Oppo A5 2020 with 128GB storage now available for under RM900

The Oppo A5 2020 is an interesting mid-range device that comes with stereo speakers and a huge 5,000mAh battery. If the current 3GB RAM + 64GB storage model isn’t sufficient enough, Oppo Malaysia has announced its higher-spec variant that comes with 4GB RAM + 128GB of storage.

The new higher A5 2020 option is officially priced at RM899, which is RM200 more than the 3GB RAM + 64GB storage model. It’s available now at all Oppo concept stores, official distributor stores and online through their website and e-commerce partners on Lazada and Shopee. If you prefer to get it on contract, it will be available soon on Celcom, Digi, Maxis and U Mobile.

In terms of specs, the Oppo A5 2020 (4GB RAM + 128GB storage) version retains the same internals as the previous variant. It has a 6.5″ HD+ waterdrop display and it runs on a Snapdragon 665 processor.

For imaging, it gets a quad-camera setup that uses a 12MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and two 2MP shooters for depth and portrait effects. For selfies, it comes with an 8MP front camera.

The device also supports Ultra Night Mode 2.0 as well as Video Stabilisation using EIS. Despite being an affordable device, it also features dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos. Powering the A5 2020 is a huge 5,000mAh battery that charges via USB-C.
