In conjunction with its 2nd year anniversary, Boost eWallet has introduced three new and upgraded features that will be rolled out beginning next month. Boost users can look forward to more rewards and savings, as well as an increase of merchant touchpoints thanks to its partnership with UnionPay.

BoostUP

Improving from the popular shake rewards, BoostUP is a rewards program that allows users to enjoy more rewards starting 1st November. The Shake rewards are now bigger where you can get extra coins, exciting prizes or Golden tickets. The rewards catalogue covers a variety of categories including premium gadgets, entertainment, petrol, telco, online shopping and gaming content.

The Golden tickets offer unforgettable experiences that include Mediterranean cruise, a day out with A-list celebrity, a romantic getaway at Pangkor Laut Resort, exclusive VIP access to movie premiers or enjoy the thrills of extreme sports overseas.

To kick things off, Boost is offering rewards and prizes worth RM8 million which include fuel vouchers as well as exclusive benefits when you flash the Boost app at selected partners.

CashUP

For extra savings, Boost is also introducing a cashback feature called CashUp where users can earn up to 13.5% cashback from their favourite online retailers. This will cover over 100 international and local online retailers such as Shopee, Zalora, Lazada, Malaysia Airlines, AirAsia, Klook, Sephora, JD Sports, Kinokuniya, Amazin’ Grace and more.

Users can track their cashback via the CashUp section in the Boost app. After validation from the respective merchants, you can transfer your cashback earnings into your Boost eWallet balance. This CashUp feature will be rolled out from the 2nd week of November.

UnionPay QR support

Boost eWallet users can pay at any UnionPay QR merchants throughout Malaysia starting 1st November 2019. The partnership will increase the total of Boost supported merchants to over 125,000 nationwide. There are plans of expanding Boost support overseas which will cover 11 million UnionPay QR merchants across 31 countries.

As an introductory offer, users that activate UnionPay QR payment in their Boost app by 31st December 2019, will be able to earn an instant RM3 cashback in their eWallet. In addition, users can also earn an instant cashback of RM30 when they spend a minimum of RM300 at selected UPI merchants such as Duty Free, Dimensi Exklusif, Colours and Fragrance, within any airport in the country.

More information will be available on Boost’s website.
