[Update] Maxis is having system issue, 4G inaccessible

[ UPDATE 7/10/2019 15:30 ]: Maxis says they are working to resolve the issue. Below is their full statement on the matter:

We would like to apologise to our Hotlink and Ookyo customers who may be experiencing some service interruptions with their lines. Rest assured that we are working hard to rectify this as soon as possible. We will notify our affected customers when services are fully restored. We thank you for your kind understanding and support.

[ UPDATE 7/10/2019 18:30 ]: We are experiencing EDGE/2G connection in Petaling Jaya on two Maxis postpaid lines. Maxis is still trying to resolve the issue as soon as possible.

[ UPDATE 7/10/2019 23:10 ]: After 9 hours, Maxis has yet to restore its network. Significant number of users are connected to 2G/3G. According to their latest update, they are still trying to rectify the problem as soon as possible.

[ UPDATE 8/10/2019 10:00 ]: Maxis says they have restored its services. Below is their statement:

We would like to inform our customers that services have been restored, and we are closely monitoring the situation to ensure continued stability. We would like to once again apologise to our affected customers and thank them for their patience and understanding.

It appears that Maxis is facing issues with its 4G network. As of 2pm this afternoon, a couple of users have reported losing connection and their devices are only showing 3G.

We can confirm that the issue has affected users in KL and Petaling Jaya. Maxis is aware of the issue and they are trying to resolve it as soon as possible. At the moment, it isn’t clear when the network will be restored.
