Today’s episode of ICYMI covers a number of interesting devices for the Malaysian market. Samsung’s answer to the iPad Pro, the Galaxy Tab S6 is now available in Malaysia, while the long-awaited Galaxy Fold can be pre-ordered soon, with details below. There’s also a new player in the mid-range market, TCL, and Acer has announced the latest Predator gaming laptop—one that has an interesting feature that helps to cool the system down.
Sound interesting? Full details in the video below:
Samsung’s latest flagship tablet, the Galaxy S6, is now available in Malaysia. Priced at RM3,099, it comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, and comes in 3 colours: Mountain Grey, Cloud Blue and Rose Blush.
If you pick up the Tab S6 during October, you can also get the Tab S6 Book Cover Keyboard (worth RM699) for only RM200. Here’s the full post.
Finally. The Galaxy Fold will be available for pre-order for Malaysians soon, and it won’t come cheap—no surprises there. The revolutionary smartphone will be available for pre-order on the 9th of October, at a price of RM8,388. There’s an RM800 reservation fee, but if you’re spending more than RM8K on a smartphone, I suppose that’s not that big of a fee. Right?
TV manufacturer, TCL, is trying to bring its big-screen expertise to an altogether smaller platform. The TCL Plex is a new mid-range smartphone, is powered by a Snapdragon 675, and has a dedicated display engine for better colour accuracy. If you’d like to find out more, here are the full details.
Acer’s latest gaming laptop, the Predator Helios 700 is now available in Malaysia. It features a host of gaming features, including Acer’s PredatorSense, costs around RM17,999, and even has a sliding keyboard to help cool the system down.
