Huawei Mate 30 Pro pre-order: You must show proof that you own two Mate devices

The Huawei Mate 30 series has officially launched in Malaysia and we are the first country after China to get it. At the moment, the Mate 30 Pro is already available for pre-order and Huawei is throwing in RM1,155 worth of freebies which include a DJI Osmo Mobile 3, a Huawei back casing, in-car wireless car charger and Huawei Care protection coverage.

Since the pre-order is introduced as part of an exclusive ownership campaign, the Mate 30 Pro is only offered to Huawei customers that own at least two Mate devices.

The Mate 30 Pro with 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage is officially priced at RM3,899 and it’s available in Black and Space Silver. If you’re interested, you can place your order via 3ex.com.my.

The first step is that you’ll need to acknowledge that the pre-ordered devices are running on Huawei Mobile Service which includes Huawei AppGallery, Huawei Browser, Huawei Video, Huawei Cloud, Huawei Music and more. In other words, you must accept that there’s no Google Mobile Service pre-installed.

Next, you’ll need to show proof of ownership for two Mate series device. This could be a photo captured on the device with the watermark enabled, a copy of your invoice/receipt or a picture of the Mate device itself. You are only required to submit one picture per device and it needs to be just one of the above examples.

Once that’s done, you can select your state and preferred collection point. According to the site, the device will be available for collection between 25th October to 7th November 2019. To secure the unit, you must place a non-refundable deposit of RM300.

If you want to redeem more freebies, you can recommend 5 friends to pre-order the unit. If all five have purchased the Mate 30 Pro, you can get Huawei Watch GT (worth RM799) for free. To learn more, you can check out the pre-order page.
