TVs, or Smart TVs in particular, seem to be pretty hot commodities in today’s market, don’t they? The OnePlus TV is set to launch soon, with the TV set to be announced in September in India, while Coocaa‘s affordable Android TVs have certainly garnered a fair share of attention.

Now, Motorola is the latest brand to come up with a line up of Android TVs, with the TVs set to launched in India with models ranging from 32″ Full HD displays to 65″ UHD displays. Interestingly, they ship with an Android gamepad and they all come pre-loaded with Android 9.0.

Under the hood, the TVs are powered by the Mali 450 GPU, along with 2.25GB of RAM paired to 16GB of storage. The TVs also feature front-facing soundbar-styled speakers that are rated at 30W for sound output, with support for DTS Tru Sound and Dolby Audio. Dolby Vision is also featured, along with HDR 10 support.

Motorola’s TVs are launched in partnership with FlipKart, an e-commerce platform in India, and is priced as following:

32-inch HDRs. 13,999 (about RM815)
43-inch Full-HDRs. 24,999 (about RM1,455)
43-inch Ultra-HDRs. 29,999 (about RM1,746)
50-inch Ultra-HDRs. 33,999 (about RM1,979)
55-inch Ultra-HDRs. 39,999 (about RM2,328)
65-inch Ultra-HDRs. 64,999 (about RM3,784)

Essentially, the Android TV OS will allow users to have a wide range of apps available via the Google Play Store, while certification for premium video streaming services such as Netflix is usually up-to-par—allowing you to watch Full HD and 4K content in its full glory.

If you’re interested, you can also side-load APKs onto most Android TVs, which lend a degree of versatility to the setup. Unfortunately, we don’t know when/if the Motorola TV will make its way to Malaysian shores at this current time.
