These images show the Huawei Mate 30 Pro in all its camera-bump glory

The Huawei Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro is set to be launched on September the 19th, and there have been a whole slew of images leaked ahead of one of the most intriguing smartphone releases of the year. See, we still don’t know what OS the flagship devices will come with, and there’s also the huge camera bump that have been shown in quite a few leaked images to date.

And now, reliable leakster Ice universe has posted a few images of the Huawei Mate 30 Pro on Twitter. Note, these aren’t renders, or promo images, or anything of the sort. These look like genuine, real pictures of the Huawei Mate 30 Pro, and if anything, they confirm what we’ve already been expecting for awhile now.

It looks like this is a Chinese variant of the Mate 30 Pro, with the startup page and wording on the rear sticker appearing to be in Chinese. It’s sporting a glossy, purplish colour, and it shows that huge camera bump at the rear. There also appears to be 2 additional sensors from the front-facing camera housed in the notch, that could be used for advanced 3D facial recognition.

It could also be a 40MP + 40MP + 8MP + ToF setup at the rear, with 4 lenses seen in the camera bump. The secondary 40MP camera could be utilised for ultra-wide-angle and this could mean better detail when capturing landscapes. The main 40MP sensor, 8MP periscope telephoto camera and ToF camera is likely to be the same as the current P30 Pro.

There aren’t anymore details from Ice Universe besides the Tweet, but we expect the Mate 30 Pro and Mate 30 to utilise Huawei’s latest Kirin 990. The Mate 30 Pro could also come with larger camera sensors, with a 40MP 1/1.5″ main sensor with an aperture of f/1.4 to f/1.6. The secondary 40MP shooter is also expected to sport a familiar 1/1.7″ sensor for the ultra-wide-angle shooter with a field of view of 120-degrees. As for the zoom lens, it is said to be an 8MP camera with 5X zoom (likely optical), something like the P30 Pro.
