The Huawei Nova 5T was recently launched in Malaysia and this smartphone runs on a flaghsip class processor with a quad camera setup. But the reason why everyone has been so interested in this smartphone is because of its price.

The Nova 5T has a starting price of RM1,599 and it comes with a whopping 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage.

And if you think this smartphone is familiar, that is because the camera layout is super similar to the Honor 20 that was launched earlier this year. As a matter of fact, the Nova 5T shares the similar quad camera setup as the Honor 20. It has a 48MP main camera, an 16MP ultra-wide angle lens, a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro camera for you to take pictures up close.

Besides that, the Huawei Nova 5T also gets a 6.26” Full HD+ LCD display, a 32 MP selfie camera and a very capable Kirin 980 processor. It also has a 3,750mAh battery that also supports 22.5W fast charging via USB-C and it also has a side mounted fingerprint scanner that unlocks your smartphone super quick.

But at the exact same price of RM1,599 you can also purchase the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro but  it only comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

But the Mi 9T Pro does have its advantages. It has a 3.5mm headphone jack that is not present on the Huawei Nova 5T, the top of the line  snapdragon 855 processor and it has a full view display with no notches or punch holes.

But which smartphone will you pick for the exact same price? The Huawei Nova 5T or the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro? Let me know your thoughts in the comment section below.
