Turns out Huawei isn’t just releasing a refreshed Huawei P30 with new dual-tone colour design. Based on a larger banner spotted at IFA 2019, Huawei is also refreshing its top-of-the-line Huawei P30 Pro that comes in two new colours.
According to serial leakster Roland Quandt, the new Huawei P30 Pro colours are called Misty Lavender and Mystic Blue. Looking at the renders, it appears to have a combination of frost and glossy finishes which is somewhat similar to its budget Huawei Y9 Prime 2019. Roland also states that the device is expected to be sold for 999 EUR and it comes with 8GB RAM + 128GB storage.
What’s interesting is that it appears that the new P30 Pro will come with the latest Android 10. The fine print states P30 Pro with EMUI 10.1 based on Android 10. However, it also says the delivery time of software upgrades may vary depending on phone model an region. This tells us that these P30 Pro may be shipped with Android 10 out of the box but the second part could be referring to future software updates or Android 10 upgrades for existing P30 units.
Apart from these new colour options, Huawei will be announcing its new Kirin 990 chipset at IFA 2019. More details shall be revealed at tomorrow’s event. Their next flagship, the Mate 30 series will be launched at a separate event in Munich that’s taking place on 19th September.
