The Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro is here in Malaysia! Everyone has been talking about it because this device over here gets a flagship class processor for an affordable price point. But how is it different from the Xiaomi Mi 9T that was launched a few months ago?
First up, it’s their processor. While the Mi 9T uses an upper mid range Snapdragon 730 processor, the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro gets a flagship class Snapdragon 855 processor.
The main camera on both of these devices are different as well. The Mi 9T Pro gets a more capable Sony IMX 586 main sensor while the more affordable among the two gets a Sony IMX582 main camera. But fortunately, both of them retains the same resolution at 48MP.
The Mi 9T Pro is also capable of shooting 4K videos in 60fps and this option is not available on the Mi 9T.
The Mi 9T Pro also gets a new graphite cooling system. According to Xiaomi, this helps to reduce heat more effectively and it decreases the CPU core temperatures. So that generally means that you can play with your smartphone longer without overheating your phone.
And unlike the Xiaomi Mi 9T, the Pro variant can support up to 27W fast charging. But the bad news is that the 27W adapter is sold seperately and what you will get out of the box is a 18W charging brick.
Other than that, both the Mi 9T and Mi 9T Pro are exactly the same. You will still get the same 6.39″ Full HD+ AMOLED display, 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. You will also get the same 20MP pop-up selfie camera and a whopping 4,000mAh battery.
