Samsung is not only refreshing its Galaxy A lineup as it appears that a new updated M series will be announced very soon. If you think the Galaxy M20’s 5,000mAh battery is huge, the upcoming Galaxy M is expected to come with an even larger capacity.
According to a tweet by TechnicalGuruji, the next M series will come with a 6,000mAh battery. This is based on a leaked teaser image showing 6000 with a text that says “Get ready to #GoMonster.”
At the moment, it isn’t clear which model is the teaser referring to, but it is speculated to be a Galaxy M20s and M30s since both M20 and M30 are currently equipped with a 5,000mAh battery.
A couple of weeks back, a 6,000mAh battery was spotted on South Korea’s lab certification that carries the product code EB-BM207ABY. The label states that it has a 22.45Wh capacity with a 3.85 Volt rating, which calculates to 5,831mAh.
Samsung hasn’t officially said anything about the new Galaxy M series but it is rumoured to be announced sometime in mid-September. The device is said to be powered by an Exynos 9610 processor and it could come with a triple-camera setup that has a 48MP main camera.
