Huawei is showcasing the Nova 5T in Malaysia this Sunday

The Huawei Nova 5 series is coming to Malaysia very soon. Ahead of its official announcement, the Chinese smartphone maker will be showcasing its brand new Nova 5T in Malaysia this coming weekend. The Nova 5T is a new variant in the series and it’s expected to be a rebranded the Honor 20 series.

Huawei is the official smartphone partner for the upcoming Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week and they will be showing their upcoming smartphone at the event, this coming Sunday, 25th August 2019. According to Huawei Malaysia, this is the opportunity to be among the first in the world to view the Nova 5T.

The Nova 5 is Huawei’s latest mid-range lineup that was announced in June. According to Google’s certification listing, the Nova 5T is basically an Honor 20 while the Nova 5T Pro is an Honor 20 Pro. Reliable leakster Roland Quandt has also confirmed that the Nova 5T will offer identical specs to the Honor 20. He shared that it will also feature a 6.26″ Full HD+ punch-hole display and runs on a Kirin 980 processor. The device will also come with a quad-camera setup and a 3,750mAh battery.

The Honor 20 with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage is currently priced at RM1,699 and we reckon that the Huawei branded device will fetch a higher price tag if it goes on sale.
