Honor 20 Pro arrives in Malaysia on 15 August with free wireless earbuds and fitness band

Honor Malaysia has announced the arrival of its top-of-the-line Honor 20 Pro. As revealed earlier, the quad-camera flagship smartphone will be available starting 15th August and Honor will be throwing additional freebies worth up to RM500.

The Honor 20 Pro is officially priced at RM2,299, and it comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage. The device is available in two colours – Phantom Blue and Phantom Black. As a comparison, the standard Honor 20 is going for RM1,699 with 6GB RAM + 128GB storage.

As a special promo, online buyers on Shopee and HiHonor.com will get an HONOR Band 3 and HONOR FlyPods Lite for free until 18th August and while stocks last. If you prefer to buy it from an Honor Experience Store or authorised outlets, they are giving away a premium luggage, HONOR mini Bluetooth speaker and an HONOR tripod selfie stick. Offline sales will be available starting from 17th August 2019.

The Honor 20 Pro comes with a 6.26″ Full HD+ display and it runs on a Kirin 980 processor. In the camera department, it gets a 48MP f/1.4 main camera, a 16MP ultra-wide-angle lens, an 8MP telephoto camera with 3X optical zoom and a 2MP macro shooter. For selfies, it comes with a 32MP front camera that’s housed in a punch-hole on the display.

Powering the Honor 20 Pro is a 4,000mAh battery that supports 22.5W fast charging via USB-C. The device also comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor that doubles up as a power button. Do note that the Honor 20 Pro doesn’t come with a headphone jack or a microSD card expansion. With the on-going promotion, the Honor 20 Pro is also covered by a 2-year warranty.

At RM2,299, the Honor 20 Pro has the same price tag as the Huawei P30 (8GB RAM + 128GB storage). Which would you get? Let us know in the comments below.
