The ASUS ROG Phone II is now available for pre-order in Malaysia

Want the most badass smartphone for gaming? The ROG Phone II is now available for pre-order in Malaysia. This is offered by a retailer on Shopee and it is significantly more affordable than the first-gen ROG Phone.

An online retailer is currently offering the ROG Phone II 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant for RM2,999. Do note that this is an import set (likely from China) and it comes with a one-year supplier warranty.

According to the description, this is a pre-order and it is expected to ship within 7 days. This particular listing also carries the Shopee Guarantee protection badge.

Apart from Shopee, it appears that another retailer on Lazada is offering the ROG Phone II very soon and this is also for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model.

To recap, the ROG Phone II comes with a 6.59″ Full HD+ 120Hz AMOLED display and it runs on the latest Snapdragon 855+ processor. The gaming smartphone can be configured up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.0 storage. Unlike several gaming smartphones, the ROG Phone II still comes with a headphone jack, proper dual-front-facing speakers and a secondary USB-C port at the sides.

It also gets a 48MP + 13MP dual-camera setup, similar to the ZenFone 6, a 24MP selfie camera that’s optimised for live streaming and a huge 6,000mAh battery. You can learn more from our announcement post.
