Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro passes Malaysia’s SIRIM certification

Xiaomi is about to release the Mi 9T Pro which is the more powerful version of the current mid-range Mi 9T. It appears that the Pro model will be available in Malaysia very soon as the device with the product code M1903F11G has just received the SIRIM green light this morning.

This model number was identified as the Mi 9T Pro when it was listed on Bluetooth SIG’s website. This is an indication that the device will be going on sale very soon. Yesterday, authorised retailer DirectD had briefly posted a teaser on Instagram that the Mi 9T Pro will be coming very soon.

The Mi 9T Pro 64GB in Europe is priced at 429 EUR (about RM2,022) but we reckon it could be going for less than RM2,000 in Malaysia. As a reference, the current Mi 9T with a Snapdragon 730 processor is priced at RM1,199 for the 64GB storage model and RM1,399 for the 128GB storage variant.

In terms of hardware, the Pro model is identical to the standard Mi 9T but it runs on a flagship-class Snapdragon 855 processor and the main camera is using a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor.

Thanks Hafiz for the tip!
