Samsung Galaxy Fold is coming to Malaysia next month

If the Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ isn’t posh enough for you, you’ll be happy to know that the Galaxy Fold is finally arriving in Malaysia very soon. According to sources close to the matter, the foldable smartphone will be available locally beginning in September.

In case you missed it, the Galaxy Fold was supposed to launch in Malaysia on 3rd May 2019. Unfortunately, the release was postponed as the South Korean smartphone maker had to make further design tweaks to address its reliability concerns.

Two weeks ago, Samsung had announced that the Galaxy Fold is finally fixed and it is ready to go to market. Some of the notable changes include a new protective layer which is extended beyond the bezel and there are further reinforcements to prevent tiny particles from entering the hinge mechanism.

We are told that the Galaxy Fold will be priced around RM8,000. In the US, the device is priced at US$1,980 which is about RM8,328 if converted directly. It will come with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.0 storage. For a quick recap, below is an infographic on the Galaxy Fold’s hardware specifications.
