At the launch event held today at Colony Co-Working Space KLCC, U Mobile announced a partnership with Microsoft and a brand new package targeted towards SMEs. The GoOffice bundle will include voice, data, and Microsoft Office 365’s suite of applications, starting from a price of RM238.
At the launch, U Mobile explained that GoOffice’s aim is to enable businesses—with an emphasis placed on SMEs—with the digitisation of their business. According to Jasmine Lee, Chief Marketing Officer of U Mobile:
We are delighted to be able to partner with Microsoft to launch GoOffice, the country’s first voice, data and Office applications bundle for SMEs. With GoOffice, we are enabling businesses, big or small, to digitise their business. The combination of unlimited data and voice and Microsoft cloud-based services means businesses can be carried out anywhere, anytime on any device.”
Here’s what the GoOffice bundle includes (prices starting at RM238):
Microsoft Office 365 Business
– Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, Access (PC-
only)
– 1TB cloud storage on OneDrive
– Up to 15 devices (smartphone, Mac/PC, tablets)
1 x Principle Postpaid Line
– Unlimited voice and data
– 4GB of Roam-Onz data, which enables roaming in 12 destinations.
– 20GB for hotspot
2 x Supplementary Postpaid Lines
– Unlimited voice
– 6GB of high-speed data
– 500MB of Roam-Onz data, which enables roaming in 12 destinations.
– Unlimited Waze
As businesses grow, customers can opt to purchase additional Microsoft Office 365 licenses, while each additional postpaid line (besides the 3 bundled lines) will cost an additional RM45. Do note that the Office 365 supports 15 devices, not users.
Michal Golebiewski, Chief Marketing and Operations Officer of Microsoft Malaysia explained that SMEs can utilise GoOffice to take their business to the Cloud, with digitisation being a process that every business must go through to stay competitive in today’s market.
