The Galaxy Note 10 may lack a headphone jack but they are introducing something better

The Galaxy Note 10 is expected to be Samsung’s first Galaxy Note device to ditch the 3.5mm headphone jack. This shouldn’t come as a surprise as there are a couple of Samsung devices including the Galaxy A80 and Galaxy Fold that have ditched the traditional audio port.

For the upcoming Galaxy Note 10, this means that you’ll have to use a USB-C to 3.5mm dongle if you plan to use your existing headphones. Alternatively, you can use the provided USB-C headphones or go completely wireless using the Galaxy Buds.

According to serial leakster Roland Quant, it appears that Samsung could be bundling a pair of noise-cancelling headphones with the Galaxy Note 10. It’s a wired unit that uses a USB-C connector. There’s no mention of it being an AKG certified set but this should provide a better audio experience compared to its previous bundled headphones. With active noise cancellation, you can enjoy your music with fewer distractions from your surroundings.

Roland also reiterated again that the new EP-N5200 wireless charger for the Galaxy Note 10 is pretty much confirmed and it pushes a high 20W output. In theory, this allows you to charge wirelessly faster even than Samsung’s very own 15W adaptive fast charger for the Galaxy Note9 and S10 series.

The 20W wireless charger is currently one of the fastest wireless chargers in the world alongside Xiaomi’s fast wireless charger. According to Xiaomi’s their 20W charger can fully charge a Xiaomi Mi 9’s 3,300mAh battery in just 90 minutes.
