The Samsung Galaxy A80 is finally coming to Malaysia and it will be going on sale this coming weekend. This is the most premium model in the new Galaxy A series and it features a rotating triple-camera setup.

Samsung Malaysia had posted a tweet which reveals its official price tag of RM2,499 and it will be coming on the 12th of July. The Galaxy A80 for Malaysia comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage which isn’t expandable. It’s available in three colours – Phantom Black, Angel Gold and Ghost White.

The #EraofLIVE is about to get way more epic with rotating triple cameras.

The device also appears to be making its debut on the official online store in Lazada, in conjunction with the Mid-year sale that’s happening on 12th July. A couple of retailers have started offering pre-orders since a week ago with stocks expected to arrive by the end of this week.

The Galaxy A80 comes with a 6.7″ Full HD+ Super AMOLED display and it runs on a Snapdragon 730 processor. Unlike other Samsung models, it doesn’t come with a notch or a punch-hole at the top of the display. For instant unlocking, the device features an in-display fingerprint sensor.

For imaging, it comes with a 48MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 3D Depth camera for bokeh effects. It can shoot 4K videos for both front and back. The large screen smartphone is powered by a 3,700mAh battery and it supports 25W Super Fast Charge via USB-C. For Malaysia, the Galaxy A80 comes with Samsung Pay support, which allows you to make Paywave or PayPass payments with your smartphone.
