Smartphones have been looking more and more… exotic recently, haven’t they? This week, retailer ESH is having pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy A80—except pre-orders will include a special edition Blackpink pack.
This is followed by news that Redmi is releasing the K20 Pro in a special, Avengers-themed package. Lastly, we have some great deals for some old, but still gold, smartphones.

Malaysian retailer ESH offers the Galaxy A80 with free Blackpink pack and Galaxy Fit
Kpop and Blackpink fans will be happy to hear that ESH is now having a pre-order for a Samsung Galaxy A80 that comes with 8GBs of RAM or 128GBs of storage. As part of the deal, customers will get a charging stand, a Blackpink case, and a pack of themed photo cards, alongside a Galaxy fit.
Deal: Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S going for RM999 on 12th July
The Xiaomi Mi MIx 2S with 6GBs of RAM and 128 GBs of storage will be available for RM999, but only for a short while. As part of Lazada’s mid-year festival sale, the deal will be available on 12 July between 12am to 2am, while stocks last. You’ll be able to purchase either the black or white version. Celcom offers the iPhone 6s for free on contract
Celcom is now offering a further markdown for the iPhone 6s. The iPhone 6s 32GB which retails for RM1,249 is now offered from as low as RM0 with Celcom’s postpaid contract. This will be tied to Celcom’s Gold Supreme plan (50GB), with a monthly fee of RM128. You can also get the iPhone 6s for RM199 under Celcom’s Gold Plus (40GB) at RM98 per month.
Fancy an Avengers-themed Redmi K20 Pro?
Interestingly, Xiaomi/Redmi has released a limited edition version of the powerful, but affordable, Redmi K20 Pro to appeal to fans of the Marvel Universe and the Avengers. The Redmi K20 Pro Avengers Limited Edition will come in a non-gradient, monochrome-looking black, while it will also be packaged differently—an Avengers-themed box, and even a blue-coloured Avengers-themed case for you to use out of the box.
