Win 1 year of free tolls from Touch N Go this month

Are you tired of paying for tolls? I know I am. Damn that Sunway LDP toll that probably absorbs more than 20% of my income every month. Well, if you’re like me then I may have some good news for you because I just spotted a new promotion by Touch N Go Digital on my eWallet app, and the grand prize is an entire year free from tolls by simply using PayDirect.

Here’s how it works.

In an effort to push the usage of the company’s new PayDirect feature, Touch N Go’s (TNG) holding a special promotion campaign for the month of July (1st to the 31st of July 2019). During the campaign period, you can stand a chance to win a weekly prize of free tolls for one month, or a grand prize of free tolls for an entire year.

To participate, all you need to do is use your PayDirect feature. For those who are out of the loop, PayDirect is a new feature TNG enabled for their eWallet users, that allows them to link up their physical TNG cards to the eWallet. Then, at supported toll booths, whenever users use those linked physical TNG cards, the PayDirect feature will deduct the toll fare from the user’s eWallet instead of the physical card’s balance. It’s a neat way to work around the hassle that is reloading your physical TNG card, but it only works on selected highways.

During the campaign, each usage of PayDirect will give you one entry to win the prize. The winner will be picked from a random draw of the total entries received, so the more entries you have, the higher your chances are for winning the prize. Additionally, users will gain 10 entries whenever they add a physical TNG card to their eWallet for the first time. There will be 100 weekly prizes each week, and 10 grand prizes for the entire month. Each user will win either a weekly prize or a grand prize throughout the campaign period only

The way TNG allocates these free tolls is through a cash prize which will be credited into the winner’s respective eWallet accounts. The weekly prize winners will receive RM200 credited into their eWallet, while the grand prize winners will receive RM2,500. Since it’s a cash prize, it looks like you can use it to pay for other stuff that’s supports the TNG eWallet too.

Say what you will, but this looks like a pretty solid way to get people on board with paying using PayDirect. Since we will be paying our tolls every day anyway, might as well use PayDirect to stand a chance to win something right?
