Shopee has announced the arrival of a new affordable Redmi 7A which will go on sale this coming weekend. This is the successor of the Redmi 6A and it runs on a Qualcomm processor and has 32GB of storage.

The device is priced at RM459 and sales will begin at midnight on 7th July 2019. Do note that this is sold by Xiaomi’s official global store on Shopee, where the items will be shipped from China while the warranty is covered by Xiaomi Malaysia.

For an additional discount, you can apply the voucher code XIAOMI707 to get a RM10 rebate with a minimum spend of RM150 on the store.

The Redmi 7A features a 5.45″ HD+ 18:9 display and it runs on a Snapdragon 439 processor. It has 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage which is expandable via microSD. For taking pictures, it has a 12MP AI-assisted main camera while the front comes with a 5MP selfie shooter.

The device comes with a large 4,000mAh battery that charges via microUSB. This is also a dual-SIM device with dual 4G and VoLTE support. If you’re looking for a cheaper version, an imported Redmi 7A with 2GB RAM + 16GB storage is available for RM398 via Mobile2Go.
