Looking for last year’s flagship smartphone that’s cheaper than the Pocophone F1? The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S can be yours for less than RM1,000 in conjunction with Lazada’s Mid-Year Festival sale that’s happening next Friday.
The Mi MIX 2S is now priced at RM1,199 but it will be offered for only RM999 on the 12th July between 12am to 2am, while stocks last. The device on offer is the 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variant which is currently available in both Black and White.
To recap, the Mi MIX 2S comes with a 5.99″ Full HD+ display that has no notches and it uses a ceramic back which has better scratch resistance. The device is running on a Snapdragon 845 processor, which is the top of the line offering for 2018.
In front, it comes with a 5MP f/2.0 selfie camera that’s placed on the bottom chin of the display. Meanwhile, the rear gets a 12MP + 12MP dual-camera combo that scored a respectable 97 points on DxOMark, which is the same score as the iPhone X and Huawei Mate 10.
Keeping the lights on is a modest 3,400mAh battery that charges via USB-C. The Mi MIX 2S also supports Qi Wireless Charging, but do note that it doesn’t come with a 3.5mm headphone jack.
