Pos Malaysia’s limited edition Marvel stamps look awesome and you know you want them

If the extra six minutes Marvel added to the Avengers: Endgame extended cut wasn’t enough to quench your Marvel thirst, Pos Malaysia has something sick in store for you. Our national postal service just announced an awesome set of limited edition 80th anniversary Marvel stamps that you can pre-order starting today!

The company released a whole set that comprises three stamp sheets with 11 stamps, two souvenir covers, two post cards and one folder–all of which feature awesome art straight out of the comics. Needless to say they look really awesome.

These stamps will be available for pre-orders starting today (4th July 2019) and you can do so at any of the 13 General Post Offices nationwide, or online at eziemall.com. Naturally, with these being limited edition stamps, they will only be available while stocks last. Each set will be priced at RM120.

The stamps will feature Marvel heroes like Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, Black Widow, Black Panther and Captain America so you do it all day. It even features villains like Loki and Thanos.

Star2 reports that in a press release, Pos Malaysia group CEO, Syed Md, Najib Syed Md, Noor hopes that the stamps would attract and grow a younger generation’s interest in collecting stamps.

While stamps have always been something collectors sought after, it is even more the case with the advent of the internet. Emails and instant messaging have completely taken over the way we communicate in the digital age. I mean, it’s not even an exaggeration when I say that may prefer chatting online than in-person.

That said, what’s old often becomes new again. And much like how the interest in film photography has grown in recent times–thanks to the popularity of disposable cameras–it’s not entirely implausible for something like stamp collecting to make a return.
