The Honor 9X appears to come with a pop-up selfie camera

The Honor 9X is launching at the end of this month and this is Honor’s new mid-range smartphone that usually offers a large viewing experience and great specs. Before the device is announced, serial leakster, Evan Blass has shared what alleged to be schematics of the upcoming device and it appears to have a pop-up selfie camera.

This could be Honor’s first pop-up selfie smartphone and it could very well compete directly with Xiaomi’s Mi 9T. If this is true, the Honor 9X will provide a better viewing experience since there are no punch-holes or notches to get in the way.

At the rear, it illustrates a dual-camera setup that has an LED flash on the same bump. What’s interesting is the slight recess on the top right corner of the device. On the right side, we can see a typical volume rocker and what seems to be two additional buttons as well.

It is interesting to point out that Huawei had recently launched a smartphone with a pop-up selfie camera in Europe with the P Smart Z 2019. The device came with a 6.59″ Full HD+ display and it runs on a Kirin 710F processor with a 4,000mAh battery.

The Honor 9X is scheduled to launch in Xi’an, China on the 23rd July 2019. The device is expected to run on the latest Kirin 810 processor that has a dedicated NPU, and it’s rumoured there will be a Honor 9X Pro variant as well.
