Boost says its system upgrade “requires more time”

It looks like Boost’s scheduled back-end system upgrade exercise will take longer than its developers had originally anticipated. The app is expected to go back online at 8pm on 11 June, a full six hours later than its original plan.

Earlier, Boost said the upgrade exercise was supposed to take place between 10 June from 11:30pm to 11 June 2.00pm.

During the upgrade period, users will not be able to access the Boost app.

Due to the prolonged outage period, Boost will be offering complimentary Super Shake Tokens to all its users when the app is back online. Shake Tokens offer random cashback rewards to Boost users, so I’m assuming, Super Shake Tokens will offer even more cashback.

Boost says the upgrade is necessary to introduce new features in the app both for the consumers and businesses that use the app for transactions.

According to the eWallet provider, users should update the Boost app after the upgrade exercise in order to enjoy the benefits from the improvements.

If you have any questions, you can get in touch with Boost through email at support@myboost.com.my or on Instagram and Facebook @myboostapp.
