Digi offers the Xiaomi Mi 9 128GB from RM23/month

The Xiaomi Mi 9 is currently the most affordable Snapdragon-855 powered flagship smartphone that’s priced under RM2,000. If you don’t want to fork out a lot of cash upfront, Digi is currently offering the device on its PhoneFreedom 365 program.

The device on offer is the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage version that’s officially priced at RM1,999. With PhoneFreedom 365, you can own a new smartphone by instalment with RM0 upfront and with 0% interest.

For the lowest commitment plan, the device can be yours at RM58/month on its Digi Postpaid 80 with Gboost add-on (extra RM10/month) and it can go as low as RM23/month on the highest Digi Postpaid 190 contract with a 24-months duration.

The Xiaomi Mi 9 features a 6.39″ Full HD+ AMOLED display that comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor. Powering the device is a Snapdragon 855 processor with 6GB of RAM. For imaging, the tiny notch in front houses a 20MP selfie camera, while the rear gets a new triple camera setup. It has a 48MP main, 12MP telephoto with 2X Optical Zoom and a 16MP Ultra-Wide-Angle camera.

The Mi 9 comes with a 3,300mAh battery that supports 27W fast charging via USB-C. The device also supports fast wireless charging up to 20W. Do note that the Mi 9 comes bundled with an 18W charger and the device doesn’t have a headphone jack.
