Samsung Galaxy M40 with Infinity-O display is launching on 11 June

This year we saw Samsung releasing a barrage of cheap and good smartphones with its new Galaxy M and A series. If you need more power, Samsung has confirmed that it will be launching the Galaxy M40 and it’s happening in India in less than two weeks.

Samsung India has started teasing the device and the Galaxy M40 is set to be Samsung’s most affordable smartphone with an Infinity-O display. Unlike the Galaxy S10 where the punch-hole is placed on the top right corner, the selfie camera for the M40 is positioned on the top left side instead.

The teaser also hints that the Galaxy M40 will run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6XX series processor and it will come with a triple-camera setup. Also seen in the image is a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.

As seen earlier, the Galaxy M40 with the model number SM-M405F is expected to run on a Snapdragon 675 processor, which is the same unit as the one that’s running on the Galaxy A70. The device has also passed WiFi certification and it will support both 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi.

The rest of the hardware specs isn’t confirmed yet but we reckon it could come with a large 5,000mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging via USB-C. More shall be revealed on 11th June 2019.
