This is the first official photo of the Honor 20 Pro

After the launch of the Honor View 20, the next big thing from the Huawei sub-brand is their new Honor 20series. Before the device is officially announced in the next couple of weeks, Honor has dropped a clear image of their upcoming flagship smartphone.

What you’re looking at is the top of the line Honor 20 Pro. Similar to the Honor View 20, it gets a punch-hole on the top left corner of screen to house an in-display selfie camera. The display is flat and there’s still a slight chin at the bottom.

They haven’t revealed the full specs yet but you can expect the same top of the line Kirin 980 processor that’s powering the View 20 and Huawei’s Mate 20 and P30 series. The device is likely to be offered with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

Since the Honor 20 Pro is expected to share a lot of similarities with the P30 Pro, it is likely that the device will come with a quad-camera setup with a periscope camera system. Of course, the major difference is that you don’t get any Leica branding and the same image optimisation as Huawei’s flagship models.

The Honor 20 series launch is happening on 21st May 2019 in London. Since Malaysia is a key market, we expect Honor Malaysia to offer pre-orders almost immediately after the global event and it could go on sale before the Hari Raya holidays.

Apart from the Honor 20 Pro, there will be a cheaper Honor 20 non-Pro version. If you’re on a budget, the Honor 20 Lite with a triple-camera setup has already launched in Malaysia last month with a retail price tag of RM949.
