Touch ‘n Go PayDirect now supports more highways including LDP

While RFID is a contactless way to pay for toll charges, Touch ‘n Go had recently introduced a PayDirect feature which allows you to pay using your eWallet balance when you tap your physical TNG Card. This eliminates the need to top up your physical card manually as you can easily top up your eWallet balance through your smartphone. Initially introduced on DUKE highway, this feature is now extended to more highways in the Klang Valley including Lebuhraya Damansara-Puchong (LDP).

It appears that PayDirect support is enabled today for both LDP Penchala and Sunway Toll Plaza as the toll fees are deducted from the eWallet balance as pictured below. You will know that the toll charges are deducted from the eWallet if the balance of the card isn’t shown at the toll booth’s display. If your eWallet balance is insufficient, the toll charges will then be deducted from the physical card.

Apart from LDP highway, PayDirect is also supported on the Guthrie Corridor Expressway (GCE), Lebuhraya Kemuning – Shah Alam (LKSA), Ampang – KL Elevated Highway (AKLEH), Duta Ulu-Kelang Expressway (DUKE), Cheras-Kajang Expressway (Grand Saga Expressway), North Klang Straits Bypass (Grand Sepadu), Kajang Silk Highway (SILK), LATAR Expressway, Maju Expressway (MEX) and SMART Tunnel.

To enable PayDirect, you’ll need to download the Touch ‘n Go eWallet app which is available for Android and iOS devices, and then add a physical card to the app. Your MyKad is supported as well, but you’ll have to obtain the TNG number from the top-up receipt.

In case you’re wondering, this PayDirect feature also works when you use your linked Touch ‘n Go card with a SmartTAG. For greater convenience, you can also enable auto-reload by credit card for the Touch ‘n Go eWallet.

As a limited time promo, Touch ‘n Go is offering 20% rebate for toll charges if you use the PayDirect Feature. New users can enjoy the rebate for 10 times and if you need more, Touch ‘n Go gives you another 5 times rebate for every successful Touch ‘n Go eWallet referral.

You can learn more on Touch ‘n Go’s PayDirect page.
