Sunway Pyramid’s new app offers real-time indoor navigation

We always depend on maps to find the best route to our destination. When it comes to a huge mall like Sunway Pyramid, you will soon enjoy the same convenience with its new mobile app which has Google Maps integration.

According to Sunway Pyramid, the new mobile app is the first shopping mall app that provides real-time in-mall navigation in Malaysia. This makes it easier for you to navigate to over 1,000 stores that cover 1.8 million square feet of space. The real-time indoor navigation uses Google’s map engine and WiFi signals to accurately detertmine your location in the building.

On top of that, the app also provides shoppers with exclusive rewards from participating tenants which include YSL, Laneige, Sulwhasoo, Yves Rocher, Chanel, Dorothy Perkins, Topshop, Topman, Miss Selfridge, Burton Menswear London, Nelissa Hilman, Hush Puppies, Love Bonito, JD Sports, NY Steak Shack, Genki Sushi, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Mr Roti Canai, Brotzeit, O.W.L, Gem Studio and Tomei.

When you sign up, the app will ask you a couple of questions to determine what type of shopper you are. The content of the app is also personalised based on your navigation patterns, redemption and browsing behaviour.

The app will be available on 12th April 2019 and you can get it on both iOS and Android. At the moment, the new app isn’t live yet but you can already view the indoor map and navigation via Google Maps.
