Huawei’s large screen Mate 20 X is getting a RM300 price cut in Malaysia. The 7.2″ gaming-centric smartphone originally retails for RM3,199 and it is now going for RM2,899.

The new reduced pricing is already reflected on Huawei’s official online store as well as Shopee and Lazada.

In terms of specs, the Huawei Mate 20 X comes with a 7.2″ Full HD display with a small notch and it runs on a top of the line Kirin 980 processor with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage which is expandable via a NM card.

For imaging, the Mate 20 X has a similar camera setup as the Mate 20 Pro. It gets a 40MP main camera, a 20MP ultra-wide-angle camera and an 8MP telephoto shooter. For selfies, it gets a 24MP front camera. Instead of an in-display fingerprint sensor, the Mate 20 X uses a rear-mounted unit.

It also gets a pair of stereo speakers and powering the Mate 20 X is a large 5,000mAh battery that supports fast charging via USB-C. It’s available in Phantom Silver and Midnight Blue. On Huawei’s official store, the Mate 20 X is bundled with a free M-Pen and a Flip Cover that are worth RM286 combined.

Apart from the Mate 20 X, Huawei has also recently reduced the pricing of its Mate 20 Pro from RM3,599 to RM2,999. Meanwhile, the standard Mate 20 is now going for RM2,399 instead of its original price tag of RM2,799.
