Gmail and Google Drive users around the world are having problems accessing the service at the moment

Gmail and Google Drive users around the world are having problems accessing the services. From our observations, it appears that the disruption is affecting users in Malaysia as well but not all users are affected. Some say that Gmail and Google Drive is not working for them while others are saying that the services are slow. There are also those who say that the services are working fine for them.

However, Google has acknowledged that both services are affected with problems ranging from not being able to access Gmail or Google Drive completely to are seeing error messages, high latency, and other unexpected behaviours, according to Google via their G Suite Status Dashboard.

Although the service still appears to be up for many users, the outage is widespread. Areas affected so far are parts of North and South America, Europe and Asia.

The company says it is investigating the issue and will provide an update soon

At the time of reporting, over 600 reports have been made about the issue with more taking to social media to vent their frustrations.
