OPPO F11 Pro with a pop-up selfie-camera is coming to Malaysia very soon

Oppo is bringing its new selfie-centric smartphone to Malaysia which will replace its current Oppo F9. The upcoming device is the Oppo F11 Pro and this is their first smartphone that comes up with a pop-up selfie camera.

Oppo Malaysia has posted a teaser on Facebook and it mentioned that the upcoming device will come with a 48MP main camera. It also promises to offer brilliant portrait photos in low light.

The full spec sheet isn’t revealed yet but based on the product page on their Indian website, the F11 Pro will come with a 6.5″ edge to edge display that boasts a screen to body ratio of 90.90%. There’s no official info for its processor but it will come with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.

For taking pictures, the rear gets a 48MP f/1.79 main camera and it is assisted with a secondary shooter for depth effects. Instead of a wide slider mechanism like the Oppo Find X, the Oppo F11 pro comes with a smaller pop-up selfie camera module that’s similar to the vivo VEX and V15 Pro. The pop-up selfie camera is positioned in the middle, in line with its centre-aligned rear camera bump.

Powering the Oppo F11 Pro is said to be a large 4,000mAh battery and it will support VOOC Flash 3.0 which claims to fully charge the device 20 minutes quicker than their original VOOC Flash Charge technology. For a more premium appearance, the Oppo F11 Pro will come with a gradient effect for the rear. In India, the device comes in Thunder Black and Aurora Green.

The full hardware details for the Oppo F11 Pro will be revealed soon since Oppo India is launching the device this evening. It has already gotten SIRIM’s approval and it’s a sign that it will go on sale in Malaysia very soon.
