Few weeks ago, Vivo’s plan of introducing its own sub-brand — also known as iQOO– was discovered after a new account appeared on Weibo. And ever since then, the company has revealed a couple of key specifications of the device. It appears that Vivo’s new sub-brand is expected to unveil a flagship gaming smartphone and it packs a number of class-leading features.

While the name of the first iQOO smartphone is yet to be established, it looks like the Chinese manufacturer will be launching its first phone on the 1st of March 2019. We know this because iQOO has released a new poster on its Weibo account and it confirms the launch date of the said smartphone.

There’s not much information revealed on the teaser image, but it carries a tagline that reads  “Born powerful and monster inside”, which could also mean that the smartphone will be equipped with top-notch specifications. And as teased in iQOO’s Weibo account, we believe that the tagline could be a reference to the Snapdragon 855 processor alongside 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

Besides that, the company has also shared some information regarding the phone’s fast charging feature. According to iQOO, the unnamed iQOO smartphone will support Vivo’s 44W SuperFlashCharge and it is capable of charging the device up to 50% in just 16 minutes. It also has 4,000mAh battery that charges via a USB-C cable.

Recent TENNA listing of the smartphone also revealed that the unnamed iQOO smartphone will feature a 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED Super HDR display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9.

In terms of camera, the iQOO smartphone will feature a triple-camera setup consisting of a 13MP main camera, a 12MP secondary camera and a 2MP camera for depth effects. Up front, there will be a 12MP camera for selfies.

However, we don’t have any pricing or availability details of the smartphone at this moment. Therefore, we will have to wait when iQOO officially launch the device on the 1st of March 2019.
